It is with great pride and enthusiasm that I welcome you to the Department of Education at Magadh University, BodhGaya. Since its establishment, our department has been committed to fostering academic excellence, research innovation, and the holistic development of our students. Our mission is to prepare educators who are not only well-versed in their subject matter but also passionate about shaping the future of our society.

My journey in the field of education has been both fulfilling and enriching, spanning over twenty-six years from the primary to the tertiary level. With a foundation built on diverse academic achievements, including degrees from esteemed institutions such as Utkal University, Pondicherry University, Alagappa University, Annamalai University, and Sambalpur University, I have been fortunate to contribute to the global discourse in education through the publication of over 50 scientific papers and 5 books across various international and national platforms.

I am deeply honored to have received numerous awards and recognitions, including the Asia Award for Excellence in Higher Education, the Bharat Excellence Award, and the Ambedkar Fellowship Award, among others. These accolades are not just personal achievements but a testament to the collective effort of our dedicated faculty, staff, and students.

As the Head of the Department, my vision is to continue our journey towards becoming a center of excellence in teacher education. We are equipped with state-of-the-art facilities and a curriculum designed to meet the evolving needs of the education sector. Our goal is to nurture future educators who are competent, innovative, and ready to make a significant impact in the world.
